MEC - Leesburg
Starting and running a small business requires you to make a lot of decisions. Good decisions require thought, planning and good information. Sometimes that information isn’t easily available in a web search, or the results that Google gives you don’t make complete sense. That’s when it’s important to have experts to help you understand things. To help you make better decisions we are gathering three business experts who can answer your questions at the MEC-Leesburg on Friday, December 2th from 9:00am to 11:00am.
The following experts will be available for questions on a first come, first asked basis in an small group, open forum environment:
Natasha Gillis, Esquire
Attorney S. Natasha Gillis founded the firm with the vision of changing the legal service industry. She makes herself easily accessible to clients by making sure that clients can directly contact her through telephone or email. She works hard to give clients effective solutions by thinking outside of the box to find multiple solutions. Understanding that litigation is often a last resort for small business clients due to cost considerations and emotional stress, she seeks to open lines of communication and thoroughly exhaust all options prior to consulting her clients on the benefits and caveats of court action. Natasha can be described as an effective yet compassionate advocate. Her goal is to build clients for a lifetime.
Clint Thomas, CPA
Clint comes to UCM with 23 years of experience in public accounting in the areas of tax compliance and planning for closely held businesses of all types, including government contractors, technology companies and service providers. Based in the Leesburg office, he will continue to provide outstanding service in tax consulting and tax planning for businesses, individuals, estates and trusts.
Jeff Tadie offers SBDC-Loudoun clients marketing, sales and business strategy guidance gleaned from over 25 years of experience in technology-oriented marketing and sales, primarily in business-to-business industries. Jeff worked early on for a satellite television company that we now know as Dish Network, for the large telephone companies during their adoption of digital and internet services, for AOL’s Digital City network of local internet guides, a software SaaS company and more.
Presently, Jeff is enabling marketing and lead generation initiatives for a number of trade associations and industries. Adept at strategic planning and go-to-market efforts in the technology arena, Jeff can offer fresh perspectives to our tech focused clients.
