This month the speaker is SBA HUBZone Deputy Director, Bruce Purdy. Mr. Purdy has worked for the US Small Business Administration (SBA) in a variety of roles over the past 20+ years. He will update the group on program changes that will go into effect in 2020, share information about their new early engagement program for certification applicants and answer questions.
Purdy’s roles at SBA started as a Program Analyst and progressed to include Deputy Associate Administrator, Office of the SBDC program and Deputy Assistant Administrator, Office of Women’s Business Ownership. He also had focus on risk management, and portfolio oversight when he served as Acting Chief of the Microenterprise Development Branch from January 2005 until June 2006. https://www.linkedin.com/in/brucedpurdy/
